Run through this list before opening a support ticket. Most "broken" eSIMs are one toggle away from working.
1. Data Roaming is OFF
Most common cause. Settings → Cellular (iOS) or SIMs (Android) → tap the Telekonek line → toggle Data Roaming ON. Phones hide this by default to prevent surprise bills on home carriers.
2. Wrong line set for Cellular Data
Your phone is still trying to use your home SIM for data. Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data → select the Telekonek line.
3. Phone is carrier-locked
Common for US carrier-financed iPhones. The Telekonek profile installs but won't activate. Contact your home carrier to request unlock — typically 2–3 business days.
4. APN not set automatically
Rare on iPhone, occasional on Android. Settings → SIMs → Telekonek → Access Point Names. If empty, our support email contains the correct manual APN values for your destination.
5. eSIM activated before you landed
Some plans start counting from first network attach, not purchase. Wait until you've landed before toggling the line on.
6. Airplane mode is still on
Yes, really. Some phones don't auto-disable airplane mode when they detect a known network. Slide it off.
If none of these fix it, contact support with your order number, phone model, and country.
